Higher education seekers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the DonSUIA as well as students of the Mariupol Center for Initial Professional Training «Police Academy», joined the nationwide charity campaign «Donate Blood – Save a Life», which is held within the framework of the II Decade of Action to Ensure Road Safety in the World and in Ukraine.
The participants of the initiative donated blood and its components for the needs of the municipal non-profit enterprise «Kirovohrad Regional Blood Transfusion Station of the Kirovograd Regional Council» in order to support medical institutions and help people in need of donor blood.
«Each donation is a chance to save someone’s life, give hope and help doctors in the fight for the health of patients. For us, law enforcement officers, participation in such initiatives is especially important, because we are called to protect the lives and health of people not only during our service, but also through our own actions and support for those in need», the participants of the charity event noted.
