A working meeting of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, educational institutions, the Department of Radiological Safety of the US Ministry of Energy and the State Inspection of Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine took place in the city of Bratislava (Slovak Republic) within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Improving the state of protection and response to sources of ionizing radiation in Ukraine”.
The Ukrainian delegation was headed by the director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk.
During the meeting, the main modules of the training course on responding to illegal actions related to sources of ionizing radiation during their use, storage or transportation were formed and developed. Representatives of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Serhiy Pekarskyi, Andrii Krasnoshchok, and Dmytro Dikhtiar also participate in the development of this course.
