The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs hosted the graduation of higher education seekers in «Law» and «Law Enforcement Activities» specialties. This year, 295 graduates joined the ranks of the National Police units in 19 regions of Ukraine, strengthening the state security system.
Addressing the graduates, the University’s rector, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, noted: «The University has instilled in you a code of honor and responsibility, which will become your main guideline in service. Being a police officer in Ukraine today is a daily choice in favor of law and protection of law and order. You are the future of the state, and it is on your shoulders that peace and security will rest».
The following joined in congratulating the graduates and the University staff: Head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Colonel Maksym Akhramieiev, First Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Yurii Mykolaienko, Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Council Yurii Drozd, Head of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, Police Colonel Andrii Dubrova, Head of the Main Office of the State Emergency Service in the Kirovohrad region, Civil Protection Service Colonel Oleksii Rodionov. Representatives of the regional and local authorities of the Donetsk and Kirovohrad regions, as well as, heads of units of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region took part in the event.
During the ceremony, the University rector, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, recognized the best representatives of the cadets and teaching staff – they received certificates of gratitude for their initiative, success in studies and loyalty to the oath.
