A 29-year-old Dmytro from Mala Vyska, the Kirovograd region, is a war combatant. As a result of his injury he has the 2nd group of disability. After finding out about the project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he applied for training at the driving school of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs for people with disabilities.
With the support of qualified mentors and instructors, Dmytro compiled a theory and improved his driving skills in a car with manual control. Today he successfully passed a practical exam at the regional service center of the main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Kirovograd regions and received a driver’s license of category “B.”
The project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities” is being implemented with the support of partners within the framework of the national initiative of the first lady Olena Zelenska “Without Barriers.”
