The DonSUIA higher education seekers took part in races at distances of 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m of the Kirovohrad region open championship in athletics in memory of coach Volodymyr Abramenko. The sports event gathered 180 participants.
The championship opened with the performance of the DonSUIA drum ensemble. The participants were greeted by the head of youth and sports department of Kirovohrad RMA Andrii Shchetyna.
The DonSUIA cadets showed high results and won prizes:
– cadet of faculty No. 3 Vladyslav Nagornyi gained a victory at distances of 60 and 200 m, completing 1 adult category;
– cadet of faculty No.3 Serhii Klymchuk finished third at distances 60 and 200 m, completing the 2nd adult category;
– cadet of faculty No. 1 Elina Kosyk and cadet of faculty No. 3 Alina Slavinska won 2nd and 3rd place at a distance of 60m, completing the 3rd adult category;
– cadet of faculty No.1 Illia Kolotov won 3rd place at a distance of 400 m, completing the 3rd adult category;
– cadet of faculty No.1 Yaroslav Vysotskyi won 3rd place at a distance of 800 m, completing the 3rd adult category;
– cadet of faculty No.1 Karina Tkach and cadet of faculty No.3 Viktoriia Tkachuk completed the 3rd adult category at a distance of 800m.
The athletes were trained by the head of special physical and pre-medical training department Ihor Shostak.
