Being a law enforcement officer is not only about professional skills, but above all about inner stability and impeccable reputation. This is exactly the topic that the Days of Discipline at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs were dedicated to.
The event was attended by Vice-Rector of the University, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Vradii, as well as invited guests: Deputy Head of the Department – Head of the Kirovohrad Unit of the Internal Security Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Shulevskyi, Head of the Unit of the Main Inspectorate of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, Police Colonel Iryna Sheremet, and Senior Inspector of the Patrol Police Department in the Kirovohrad region, Police Major Serhii Kushniruk. They shared their practical experience of service with the cadets, gave examples of typical risks, and provided recommendations on correct actions to take in difficult situations.

The University’s specialists also joined the educational process: Dean of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Major Valerii Kosse, Head of the Service Organization Department, Police Captain Ivan Khozlu, Head of the Human Resource Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Valentyn Volianiuk. The mentors emphasized that self-discipline and conscious learning today lay the foundation for high standards of service and future skills of the cadets.
Discipline Days at the DonSUIA is a strategic step towards educating a new generation of police officers, whose legal culture and impeccable order will become the basis of public trust.
