The opening ceremony of a new academic year for first-year students took place at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
This year, the institute brought together students from 13 regions of Ukraine, who will study in the specialties of “Law”, “Law Enforcement”, “Psychology”, “Economics and International Economic Relations”
First Vice-Rector of the University, Olena Volobuieva, addressed the students with a welcome speech: “We are proud of every person who has chosen the DonSUIA, because youth is a driving force in the development of our state. Today the country needs active, promising specialists. The University has created safe and comfortable conditions for obtaining higher education.”
The event was attended by guests of honor: Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Kateryna Koltunova and Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Elza Leshchenko. In her speech, Kateryna Koltunova emphasized that quality education is a key to the reconstruction and prosperity of Ukraine after the victory.
The ESI director, Tetiana Kolesnik, called on the students to be active, purposeful and confident in their own abilities.
The DonSUIA congratulates students on the beginning of the academic year and wishes them success, inspiration and new victories on the path to professional growth.
