A series of trainings on providing first aid for students, cadets, as well as scientific and pedagogical staffers were held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The trainer of the classes was Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training Oksana Kabitska.
The participants practiced team interaction, practical actions to provide assistance before medical personnel arrival, the algorithm for calling emergency services, as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to international protocols.
Special attention was paid to skills for responding to epileptic seizures and convulsive states, which is of particular importance for creating a safe and inclusive educational environment.
Conducting such a cycle of trainings corresponds to the state policy in the field of creating a barrier-free space, contributes to increasing the level of the educational process security and formation of a responsible attitude towards human life and health.
