Higher education seekers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs took part in еру meeting of the Readers’ Club “Spirit, Path, Power: Communication and Self-Development in Difficult Times.”
The focus of the discussion was on the books “Semen’s Stars” and “Anatomy of a Warrior” of Andrii Zelinskyi, a military chaplain of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, a co-founder of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, a lecturer at the Ukrainian Catholic University, and a writer.
The students analyzed the key philosophical themes of the books, including freedom and personal development, the formation of social bonds, mutual support, and serving the community. “Semen’s Stars” was viewed as a “fairy tale with kind eyes,” rich in imagery and metaphors, and “Anatomy of a Warrior” prompted reflection on practical aspects of leadership and responsibility.
The club participants also shared their own thoughts on the role of an individual in the society and his mission as part of a community and discussed examples of applying these principles in modern life and professional activities.
