The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Information Security of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units named after E.O. Didorenko of the DonSUIA joined an international initiative “EU Code Week 2025”, the national coordinator of which in Ukraine is Junior Achievement Ukraine.

As part of the challenge, the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security organized a number of IT-oriented educational events on the following topics: cybersecurity and digital hygiene, working with data, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, digital creativity, computer graphics, 3D modeling, media literacy, and digital ethics.


The higher education seekers joined the “Internet of Things” section, during which they worked on the issue of analyzing digital traces of IoT devices and using the obtained data as an evidentiary base in the investigation of criminal offenses, and also practiced the use of Big Data tools in criminal analysis and operational-search activities.

Participation in international projects gives the DonSUIA the opportunity to implement modern educational practices and increase the level of digital competence.
