Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, took part in holding the Discipline Day with first year cadets of the 2025 intake.
In his speech, the rector emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to official duties, the daily routine of a police officer, and the rules of conduct of a higher education seeker at the institution with specific learning conditions. Serhii Vitvitskyi paid special attention to the preparation of cadets for taking the Oath of a Police Officer, reminding them of the importance of this solemn event in the professional development of every future officer
During the briefing, the head of the University emphasized that discipline and patriotism are integral components of service in the National Police of Ukraine: “Being a police officer means serving your state and people. Patriotism begins with everyday affairs, with the willingness to conscientiously fulfill your duty and protect Ukraine under any circumstances.”
The Discipline Day ended with a joint summing up, which emphasized the unity of the University team, responsibility and readiness of the first-year students to continue the traditions of serving the people of Ukraine with dignity.
