The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs held a career guidance and practical event “Development of criminal analysis in the context of reforming law enforcement agencies and combating war crimes” for higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units.
The speakers of the event were representatives of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kharkiv region: deputy head of the Criminal Analysis Department – head of the Analytical Work Department, police colonel Roman Piatelin; deputy head of the Criminal Analysis Department, police captain Andrii Servatovskyi.
The police officers shared practical cases from criminal analysis activities, talked about the key tasks of analytical units in combating crimes, war crimes, in particular.
Together with the cadets, they also discussed the peculiarities of using modern digital tools in operational and investigative activities.
The meeting took place within the framework of the ongoing platform on the quality of educational process in the higher education institutions of “Edu_DonDUIA_Campus: partnership and responsibility of stakeholders in training police officers.”
