To mark the International Anti-Corruption Day, an integrity training session “Transparency in Action: Youth Against Corruption” was held in the general library of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.

The speakers of the program – librarian of the general library Antonina Harkusha and the University’s anti-corruption commissioner Anna Melnyk – introduced the students to the key concepts of integrity and corruption, and also provided practical advice on preventing corruption risks in everyday life and future professional activities.
The “highlight” of the event was a cognitive quest, during which young people actively discussed real situations, clarified what constitutes a corruption offense and what does not, and participated in an anti-corruption flash mob, demonstrating zero tolerance for any form of corruption.
The training participants also worked with a “virtuous crossword puzzle”, role-playing mini-scenarios and other tasks that develop critical thinking and ethical choice skills.
At the end of the meeting, those present familiarized themselves with the thematic book exhibition “A Step to Transparency: Сontemporary Anti-Corruption Literature” and viewed the information stand “Human Rights: A Mission to Protect.”
