“Aware of my high responsibility, solemnly swear to faithfully serve the Ukrainian people ” – the words of the Oath of a police officer echoed from 300 cadets of the first year of the DonSUIA in Kropyvnytskyi. These are students from 22 regions who aspire to work in the National Police of Ukraine, build the future of the state and do everything possible for the security and peace of citizens.
On the day of taking the Oath, first-year cadets wore a special badge of a policeman for the first time in their lives.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, personally congratulated the freshmen on the occasion of this important event: “The oath taken today should remain in the heart of each of you for the rest of your life. During these very long 8 months, the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine proved to be at the proper level and proved to be the real backbone of the state’s law enforcement system. And you are joining it today – at a time when there is a high level of trust in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the police Appreciate it, and support it, because from now on, this responsibility for people’s trust is also on your shoulders. It was earned by extremely difficult challenges every policeman, rescuer, guard, border guard, and employee of the migration service and service centers had to face. And everyone showed himself \herself in the best possible way. Follow their example!”.
People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Danutsa, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yurii Lubkovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andrii Raikovych, Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Council Serhii Shulha, acting Mayor of Kropyvnytskyi Oleksandr Mosin, Head of Main Department of the National Police in the Kirovohrad Region Roman Koziakov Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad Region, Vitalii Myroniuk, Head of the State Migration Service Department in the Kirovohrad Region, Volodymyr Honcharenko, and Head of the Regional Center of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Region, Serhii Pyzhov were also present at the ceremonial events on the occasion of the oath-taking.
For the conscientious performance of official duties, significant personal contribution to combatting crime, and high achievements in the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, state sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Ukraine, the best representatives of the university were awarded awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, gratitudes from the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration and Head’s of the Kirovohrad Regional Council rights.
The participants of the event honored the memory of all those who died during the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine with a minute of silence.
The Oath-taking ceremony ended with the University drum ensemble performance, the performance of the University Anthem and a solemn march.
