An educational training for thirty teachers from the Kirovohrad region entitled «Formation of the personality of a responsible citizen of free Ukraine» was held at the Training Center «Education of Integrity» of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was opened by the DonSUIA Rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, and director of the Department of Education and Science of the regional state military administration, Elza Leshchenko. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of educating a generation of conscious, responsible, and patriotic citizens capable of active participating in the development of a democratic and strong Ukraine.
Under the guidance of the Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Anna Melnyk, the participants considered practical situations related to zero tolerance for corruption and jointly sought effective ways to prevent corruption risks in everyday life.
Associate Professor of the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security Serhii Pekarskyi discussed with those present the issues of legal awareness, historical memory, national identity, and academic integrity.
During the practical block, Rector Assistant Olha Kovaleva and Head of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Information Security Olha Lunhol conducted an interactive exercise on children security in the information space. Using artificial intelligence tools, the participants analyzed the capabilities of modern technologies and the risks associated with their use.
At the end of the meeting, the educators received certificates confirming upgrading in their professional competence in civic education.
