The next stage of professional training for Educational Safety Service officers has begun at the Mariupol Special Primary Professional Training Center («Police Academy») of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
As part of the course, the participants will deepen their knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing police operations in educational institutions, as well as the specifics of communicating with administrators, educators, parents, and children. Particular attention will be paid to establishing trusting relationships with students of various ages.
An important component of the training involves upgrading skills in pre-medical aid, physical conditioning, and safe handling of specialized equipment. Police officers will also master protocols for handling emergencies, evacuations, and responses to offenses, and will learn to promptly identify signs of bullying, domestic violence, and crisis states in children.
