The staffers of the University general library Yuliia Bahlai, Antonina Harkusha, Iryna Konieva, and Tetiana Zavalei participated in the webinar “Research4Life in Ukraine: Partnership for Science and Development”, organized by the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.
The participants of the event learned about the possibilities of free access for Ukrainian scientists to international electronic resources Research4Life, which include more than 165 thousand books, 18.7 thousand journals and 15 databases in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, environment, applied sciences and law. Resources from leading publishing houses of the world were presented and prospects for expanding the network of project ambassadors in Ukraine were discussed.
The DonSUIA scientific and pedagogical staffers, researchers, and higher education seekers can use full-text electronic resources of Research4Life through the Internet centers of the University’s general library.
Participation in the webinar contributed to raising the DonSUIA librarians’ awareness about international scientific information resources and expanded the possibilities of supporting the University’s educational and scientific activities.
