The Open Championship of Ukraine in track and field athletics among masters was held in the city of Kyiv.
At the competitions the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs was represented by head of Special Physical Training Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Candidate for Master of Sports in track and field athletics Ihor Shostak.
In the age category 40–44 years, he won the 800-meter race, becoming the champion of Ukraine among masters.
