Three times a week, under the guidance of Yevhen Kharytonenko, senior lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, war veterans participate in adaptive strength training.
A personal training plan is developed for each serviceman, which considers in detail the nature and specifics of the injuries received, the current level of physical fitness, and individual rehabilitation needs.
This time, the trainer paid special attention to working on a multifunctional crossover, as well as active use of dumbbells and a leg press machine, which allowed the soldiers to effectively work out different muscle groups.
A combination of modern sports techniques, professional support, and the indomitable character of the soldiers themselves made these trainings an important step towards their successful return to full-fledged civilian life.
