A practical dialogue was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs between cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine and representatives of specialized police units.
The guests of the event were a representative of the Department of the Main Inspection and Human Rights Compliance (located in the Kirovohrad region), Police Major Mykola Sulzhuk, and Deputy Head of the Department for Organizing the Activities of Temporary Detention Centers and Monitoring Actions with Detainees of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, Police Captain Ilia Chernyshev.
During the meeting, those present discussed introduction of assistant heads positions of the Main Departments for Veterans’ Affairs. The speakers explained that those positions were held by specialists with real combat experience, which allows the system to better understand the needs of veterans and more effectively protect their interests.
The participants also touched upon legislative initiatives aimed at strengthening social protection of police veterans and creating decent conditions for their further service.
Finally, the cadets were presented with feedback mechanisms – in particular, a link to a specialized chatbot was provided, through which they can submit suggestions, complaints, or feedback on the work of the police.
