A course in the specialization «Community Police Officers» has started at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine.
On the beginning of their studies the students were congratulated by the DonSUIA rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, head of the Main Office of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region, Andrii Dubrova, and director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the DonSUIA, Pylyp Yepryntsev.
«We strive to build trust between the population and the police by educating ethical officers of a new model. The University becomes a connecting link in this partnership, ensuring a progressive approach and expert quality of training specialists», noted the DonSUIA rector.
As a result of the course, community police officers will receive the necessary competencies for high-quality performance of their duties and further improving the level of law and order as well as citizens’ trust in the National Police of Ukraine.
