Cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Sofiia Tretiak became a diploma winner of the All-Ukrainian essay writing contest on the topic “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Bringing the Russian Federation to Accountability.”
The event brought together 130 participants from 30 higher education institutions of Ukraine.
The winner’s diploma and a Certificate for completing an internship at the “Business Partners Group” of the Bar Association were presented to the DonSUIA cadet by Head of the President of Ukraine Office, Andrii Yermak, and Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.
Sofiia Tretiak is an active participant of a research group “My Profession is an Investigator” as well as of scientific conferences and contests of different levels. In her work, she described the prospects for using artificial intelligence in legal proceedings and the impact of digital technologies on justice.
Her scientific supervisor is Dina Drobenko, a lecturer at the department of criminal procedure and forensics of the DonSUIA.
The contest was organized by the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National Bar Association of Ukraine, and the law firm “Popko Brothers and Partners”.
