The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs pays special attention to the development of cooperation with the community of the Kirovohrad region. Considering public demand for increasing the level of citizens’ awareness in security issues, in the field of weapons handling in particular, the University is actively implementing various forms of interaction.
One of effective tools for working with the youth is organization and holding of security-oriented championships and competitions. Such events contribute to patriotic education and provide an opportunity to acquire practical skills necessary in modern conditions.
The University organized an Open Championship in Bullet Shooting for schoolchildren and students.
More than 56 participants from 14 teams competed for the title of the most accurate in bullet shooting.
Cadets and students of the DonSUIA won the Winner’s Cup and silver and bronze awards in the team competition.
Among the guests, the following participants won the prize places in the individual competition:
1st place was won by Olha Balaniuk a representative of the Society for the Promotion of Defense of Ukraine team in Znamianka (84 points);
2nd place was won by Sofia Chalovska, a representative of the team of the municipal institution “Lyceum “SOKIL” of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council” (82 points).
The DonSUIA congratulates the winners and wishes them further sport achievements, and also thanks all participants for their active participation and the demonstrated high level of skills.
