On the occasion of the International Day of Psychic (Mental) Health, the regional forum “Sustainability of One Person Leads to Sustainability of Millions” was held in Kropyvnytskyi.
Its aim is to sum up the results of implementing the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” at the regional level and present the Action Plan for 2024-2026 to implement the Concept for the Development of Mental Health Care in Ukraine.
The event was attended by: heads of the Kirovohrad region and city adminitration, state institutions, as well as public organizations of all related fields: education, volunteer movement, sports, culture, environmental protection, creative industries, and others.
During the forum, dean of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units of the DonSUIA Olha Kovalova, head of the department of special physical and pre-medical training Ihor Shostak, head of the career guidance department, Halyna Izotova, presented the University locations “Phoenix is a symbol of revival” and “Wings of confidence”. Head of the social and humanitarian department, Angela Gelbak conducted master classes using a mental-projective technique “How are you?” .
Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andrii Raikovych, noted that the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, headed by rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, is a symbol of indomitability and thanked the University team for their significant contribution to restoring the community’s mental health.
The DonSUIA was recognized as the best higher education institution in the region in the field of “How are you?” program. An award of the Coordinating Center for the Support of Civil Population was presented to the University rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, by deputy head of the Kirovohrad RMA, Kateryna Koltunova.
An award in the field of defense and veteran policy was received by a lecturer of special disciplines of the MCPPT “Police Academy” of the DonSUIA, Andrii Fomenko and regarding innovation in the field of “How are you?” program -by head of the department of social and humanitarian disciplines of DonSUIA Anzhela Helbak.
