While studying the subject “Forensic Expertise” higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs got acquainted with the activities of forensic experts of the Kirovograd Scientific-Research Expert-Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The binary class was conducted by the lecturer of сriminal procedure and criminalistics department of the DonSUIA Dina Drobenko and head of the center department of biological research and accounting Tetiana Mykhalska.
An excursion was organized for the cadets, they were shown special equipment, which is used in the work of the institution staff. Tetiana Mykhalska told future investigators about the types of forensic expertise performed at the department of biological research and accounting. She stressed on the rules for extracting material evidence during investigative (search) actions, the importance of their proper detection and fixation, work at the scene of event, as well as their proper storage for further establishing the truth during the pre-trial investigation.
