Among the participants are more than 100 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and territorial bodies, institutions and enterprises administrated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kirovograd and Cherkasy regions. The event was initiated by the corruption prevention department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and within the framework of the Anti-corruption program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for 2023-2025.
The head of the СPD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatolii Fodchuk addressed the audience. He emphasized the importance of compliance with anti-corruption legislation: “War is not an excuse for corruption risks. On the contrary, the situation in the country obliges us to be stronger, more decisive and more virtuous in countering this negative phenomenon. We are not only changing modern Ukraine, but also contributing to our future. “
On behalf rector of the DonSUIA Serhii Vitvitskyi, vice-rector of the University Ruslan Vradii made a welcome speech. He noted that corruption undermines the trust of our people in the government and negatively affects all spheres of life. It hamrs not only the economy, but also moral values, destroys the principles of equality and justice. In such a difficult time, our unity and solidarity in the fight against corruption become extremely important.
Also, a coordinator of the NATO Integrity Building Program Maryna Kohut joined the regional training. She emphasized the importance of conducting educational activities on anti-corruption orientation and building integrity.
