The 5th session of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine chaired by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk was held in Khmelnytskyi at the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi. Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, took part in the event. At the beginning of the session, the participants visited the Alley of Glory, where they paid tribute to the memory of fallen Defenders of Ukraine and laid flowers on their graves.
During the session, members of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed cooperation with practical units within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in terms of conducting joint scientific research, organizing scientific events on topical issues of law enforcement, and implementing the results of scientific research. They also considered the issue of organizing engineering and basic military training in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as medical training of their higher education seekers.
The participants of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs paid attention to the issues related to involving the institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in international scientific projects as well as observing academic integrity while conducting scientific research.
