In Poltava, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian educational project “Unbreakable Legal Schools of Ukraine”: results of implementation, perspectives”, the All-Ukrainian Forum of Heads of Higher Legal Education Institutions was held.
Its participants summed up the results of the project implementation.
The forum was held offline and online. The meeting was attended by: representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Members of Parliament of Ukraine, heads of higher education institutions and their structural subdivisions, community leaders, and activists. The DonSUIA was presented by the first vice-rector of the university, doctor of legal sciences, professor Yehor Nazymko.
With welcoming speeches to the audience addressed: Rector of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University Anatolii Hetman; Co-Chairman of the Working Group on Reforming Legal Education at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Legal Policy, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to the Provisions of European Union Law, Fulfillment of Ukraine’s International Legal Obligations in the Field of European Integration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Legal Policy Mykola Stefanchuk; Co-Chairman of the Working Group on reforming legal education at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Legal Policy, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Higher Education of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Yulia Hryshyna; Director of Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation Mikhailo Vikhliaiev; Legal Advisor to the USAID Justice for All Program Artem Shaipov.
During his speech, the first vice-rector of the DonSUIA Yehor Nazymko informed about the 10th week program of the All-Ukrainian educational project “Unbreakable Law Schools of Ukraine”. Its organizers were the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, the Zaporizhia National University, and the University of Customs and Finance.
The week’s result was the holding of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Training Specialists for the Security and Defense Sector in War Conditions” on the basis of the DonSUIA. More than 200 scientists from 26 higher education institutions of Ukraine and other countries participated in its work. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Supreme Court, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the National Police, the National Guard, the State Border Service of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, higher education institutions, scientific institutions, leading scientific legal and security centers, international partners.
Within the framework of the ERASMUS + KA 2 CBHE project “Universities Communities: strengthening cooperation” realization the UNICOM workshop “Sustainable Universities – Sustainable Communities” was held for the representatives of universities – members of the consortium on July 2, 2024, noted Yehor Nazymko. During the event, the DonSUIA presented the All-Ukrainian educational project “Unbreakable Legal Schools of Ukraine”.
At the end of the forum, diplomas were presented to the heads of higher education institutions and their structural units, as well as certificates to scientific and pedagogical workers, and speakers of the project “Unbreakable Legal Schools of Ukraine”.
