The regional veterans’ forum “The Road to Return” was held in Kropyvnytskyi. The target audience of the forum were veterans; military personnel and members of their families; relatives of the missing, captured, dead servicemen; representatives of local administration and self-government, public organizations that work with military personnel and their families, specialists in the field of psychological, medical and social rehabilitation. The delegation of the DonSUIA headed by the first vice-rector Yehor Nazymko took part in the event.
The participants exchanged experiences and information about reintegration of the military into peaceful life, and emphasized the importance of forming a common platform for cooperation. Also during the event, the presentation of the project map “The Road to Return was held”.
During the forum a photo exhibition “The Road to Return” which is a joint project of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration and the Center for Rehabilitation and Provision of Social Services for Persons with Disabilities was presented. It is designed to show people who are ready to die for their country that it is worth living for it and that when they return home, they will be supported by all of us.
The event was moderated by the deputy head of the Kirovohrad RMA Kateryna Koltunova. She presented veteran policy in the Kirovohrad region and talked about challenges, plans and solutions in this area.
