From April, 3 to April, 5, work according to the all-Ukrainian «UAS QA Pool» training program had been carried on at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. Over 60 active students from 24 universities of Ukraine united in Kropyvnytskyi to build a modern higher education system.

The event, organized by the Ukrainian Students’ Association together with the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, became a platform for training a new generation of student experts ready to directly influence the quality of education at their institutions.

DonSUIA Rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, Deputy Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Olena Yeremenko, Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Kateryna Koltunova, President of the Ukrainian Students Association Polina Hombalevska, Head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of the Analytical and Training Support Department of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Oksana Trebenko addressed those present with welcome speeches.

During the event, the participants mastered the basics of regulatory and legal principles in the field of education quality assurance, they were familiarized with the process of accreditation of universities and learned to model real accreditation situations. They also analyzed complex cases, practiced the skills of interaction of expert groups with administrations of educational institutions and improved their skills to prepare expert conclusions and reports, gaining valuable practical experience of working in a team. The final stage of the program was focused on academic integrity and dialogue with stakeholders.
After the final testing and presentation of innovative projects, the participants received certificates confirming their capability for expert activities.
