Within the framework of implementing the educational program in the specialty «Psychology», a summary of additional educational practice of higher education seekers took place at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The event brought together students, scientific and pedagogical staffers of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy, as well as stakeholders – representatives of institutions and organizations that are partners of the educational program and potential employers.
During their internship, future psychologists were familiarized with the specifics of a practical psychologist’s work, participated in psychological consultations, training sessions and psychodiagnostic studies, as well as worked out modern methods of psychological support for different categories of population.
During the final meeting, the students presented the results of their work, shared their professional experience and impressions. Representatives of the professional community noted the appropriate level of training of future specialists, their motivation for professional development and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
The results of the meeting outlined prospects for further cooperation and expansion of practice bases.
