The defense of internship results of graduate students of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units named after E.O. Didorenko, the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units of the National Police of Ukraine has been completed at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Practical training took place at the territorial bodies and units of the National Police, where the graduates improved their professional skills and gained experience in performing official tasks.
The results assessment was carried out by commissions consisting of scientific and pedagogical staffers of the University and representatives of practical police units.
The defense consisted of two parts: the theoretical one, during which the participants demonstrated their knowledge of the legal foundations of police activities, and the practical one, which was conducted in the form of a police quest containing the description of situations that occur daily in the service.
Within the framework of solving complex situational tasks, the cadets demonstrated the ability to carry out individual investigative (detective) and operational-detective actions, work with information from open sources and conduct its analytical processing, document administrative and criminal offenses, plan pre-trial investigation measures, and effectively interact with different categories of persons.
According to the results of the defense, the commission admitted a high level of graduate training. This proves that the DonSUIA trains not just theorists, but real professionals ready to ensure law and order and protect citizens of Ukraine.
