The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs opened a training ground, equipped with the support of the Metinvest Group. The event was attended by the guest of honor – director of personnel and social affairs of the Metinvest Group mining department Andrii Shcherbak. Together with rector of the DonSUIA Serhii Vitvitskyi, they cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the training ground.
Serhii Vitvitskyi congratulated those present on the Constitution Day of Ukraine and thanked the Metinvest Group for supporting the University:
“This is an important event for a higher education institution with specific training conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Due to the creation and arrangement of the training ground, the University is able to conduct military training classes, daily formations and events on the occasion of significant dates with cadets, and officers of the University at an appropriate high-quality level.
The University rector also presented a board of gratitude to Andrii Shcherbak.
“Your University trains law enforcement officers who are already involved in the protection of public safety and order! We understand that the availability of the training ground is a mandatory condition of the educational process, and the University higher education seekers are the present and the future of the state’s law enforcement system!” – noted Andrii Shcherbak, director of personnel and social affairs of the Metinvest Group mining department.
On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine the best staffers and higher education seekers of the DonSUIA were recognized for exemplary performance of official duties, personal initiative, dedication and high professionalism: dean of faculty No. 4 Volodymyr Buha, associate professor of the department of operational investigation and information security of faculty No. 3 Serhii Pekarskyi, cadet of faculty No. 2 Anna Kyrylchuk, cadet of faculty No. 1 Dmytro Anikin, cadet of faculty No. 3 Oleksandr Maistrenko, student of faculty No. 4 Oleksandr Herdov.
A line-up on the occasion of the Constitution Day also took place in Kryvyi Rih. On behalf of the University rector, certificates of gratitude were given to cadet Yuliia Bereza and student Nadiia Vorobiova by vice-rector of the University – director of the KRESI of the DonSUIA Pylyp Yepryntsev.
