The Odesa and Dnipro Regional Branches of the National School of Judges of Ukraine organized and conducted a training to maintain the qualification of judges of local common plea courts, judges’ assistants of local common plea courts and the courts of appeal (criminal specialization). More than 140 participants from southern and central regions of Ukraine took part in the event.
Doctor of legal sciences Mykola Veselov, professor of the state and legal disciplines department of the faculty of training legal and law enforcement specialists represented the DonSUIA at the event as a speaker. Together with Oleksii Nesterenko a judge of the Ingulets district court in the city of Kryvyi Rih, he conducted a webinar on “Military administrative offenses: issues of qualification and some procedural aspects.”
The webinar consisted of two main blocks of questions: the issues of qualifying the most common military administrative offenses and those offenses regarding which many controversial issues arise in judicial practice during the period of a full-scale war in Ukraine; peculiarities and problems of qualifying military official administrative offenses.
At the end of the online meeting, the participants of the event summed it up and outlined the prospects for cooperation.
