To mark the 65th anniversary of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs and the 30th anniversary of the Central Ukrainian Scientific Lyceum of the Kirovohrad Regional Council, a large-scale intellectual event was held in the city of Kropyvnytskyi – the All-Ukrainian Challenge «STEAM4UA: NEXTGEN CHALLENGE».
The event brought together students in grades 9–11 from 11 regions of Ukraine, who presented individual and team projects in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

The All-Ukrainian Challenge was opened with welcome speeches of its leading organizers and experts: the DonSUIA First Vice-Rector, Candidate of Law, Professor, Police Colonel Olena Volobuieva; Director of the Education and Science Department of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Elsa Leshchenko; Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the National Center «Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist and Technologist of Ukraine Oleksandr Stryzhak; Director of the Central Ukrainian Scientific Lyceum of the Kirovohrad Regional Council, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Nelia Mazur; Deputy Director of the Institute of Education Digitalization of the NASU, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow Olha Pinchuk; Scientific Secretary of the National Center «Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow Iryna Savchenko.

The contest was held in the format of sectional meetings in the following areas: Cyber&Law for Future; AI & Digital Systems; Science & Heritage of Innovation; EduSTEAM & Creative Technologies.

In total, the jury considered 50 projects, including works in the field of artificial intelligence, digital systems, cybersecurity, law, engineering developments, educational creative technologies, as well as researches that combine science with history and cultural heritage of Ukraine.

Today, the DonSUIA is actively establishing itself as a modern scientific and educational center that systematically implements the principles of STEAM education in training future law enforcement specialists.
