Representatives of the Academic Integrity Promotion Group of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs – associate professor of the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security Serhii Pekarskyi, associate professor of the same department Olha Haborets and associate professor of the Department of Language Training Oksana Chornous – took part in the annual conference «Innovating Education».
The event, organized by Genesis company, was dedicated to adapting the educational process to modern needs and looking for new approaches to improving the quality of higher education in Ukraine.
The key speakers of the conference were Deputy Ministers of Education and Science of Ukraine Nadiia Kuzmychova and Mykola Trofymenko, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, different educational institutions and public organizations.
During the conversation, the participants discussed the specifics of working with students of new generation, the development of modern teaching approaches and the formation of professional competencies necessary to effectively respond to the challenges of the future.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of career guidance for schoolchildren, the development of critical thinking in children of different ages, the introduction of modern technologies into the educational process, as well as the problems of professional burnout of teachers and ways to support their mental health in the face of changes in the higher education system.
