On the basis of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, within the framework of the regional Universiade, a classical volleyball competition was held among higher education students of the city of Kropyvnytskyi on the basis of the Donetsk State University.
The following teams took part in the championship: those of the DonSUIA, the Flight Academy of NAU, the Volodymyr Vynnychenko the Central Ukrainian State University, Central Ukrainian National Technical University, the Donetsk National Medical University and CYSS No. 3 (out of competition).
In the fight for the championship title the DonSUIA team lost to the athletes of the CSU named after V. Vynnychenko and won against the representatives of the Flight Academy.
The bronze awards of the Universiade were won by: Natalia Pushka (team captain), Yana Diachenko, Hanna Ilina, Kateryna Soloviova, Yana Novikova, Zhanna Bondarenko, Valeriia Andrushchenko, Alina Bobyk, Veronika Kozachok, Kristina Danyleichenko.
Senior lectures of the department of special physical and pre-medical training, Serhii Rudenko and Yurii Myronov, train the athletes.
