On the basis of the Training Center «Education of Integrity» of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, an annual training on the main provisions of anti-corruption legislation was held for the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, territorial bodies, institutions, organizations and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.
Opening the event, Rector Assistant the DonSUIA, Olha Kovaleva, emphasized that integrity, transparency, and strict compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation are important components of effective work of state institutions and a guarantee of citizens’ trust.
The training was moderated by Anna Melnyk, the DonSUIA Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities.
During the training, the participants were introduced to current changes in anti-corruption legislation, practical aspects of its application, typical corruption risks and modern mechanisms for their prevention. The program was formed regarding the specifics of activities of various units and institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The work of the Training Center «Education of Integrity» was specially focused on. Since its opening in 2023 it has become an effective platform for the development of anti-corruption competencies of more than two thousand specialists.
