Summing up the results of activities, discussing plans and prospects for further work, as well as re-election of the chairman of the scientific society of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, adjuncts and young scientists of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs became the key issues of the meeting agenda.
The event was opened by the University first vice-rector Yehor Nazymko. He focused on the role of youth in science as a driving force of innovative changes, he called for active participation in scientific events, competitions, grant projects, and also emphasized the support of the University administration in implementing initiatives aimed at the development of academic science and interdisciplinary cooperation.
The chairman of the scientific society, Olha Haborets, reported on the results of the society’s activities during 2023-2025 academic years. She described the main areas of the society’s work, in particular participation of higher education seekers and young scientists in round tables, trainings, publication activity, and inter-university cooperation.
In connection with the end of the current chairman’s term of office and according to the Regulations on the activities of the scientific society, the headship of the Coordination Council of the scientific society of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduate students, adjuncts and young scientists of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs was re-elected.
Head of the research laboratory on preventing criminal offenses at the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units, Tetiana Ponomareva, was elected its chairman.
