As part of the orientation camp activities for first-year students, the Social and Humanitarian Work Department—in cooperation with Serhii Pekarskyi, Associate Professor at the Department of Operational-Investigative Activities and Information Security of the E.O. Didorenko Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units at the DonSUIA—conducted an educational session titled «The History of the DonSUIA establishment and development».


During the meeting, the participants learned about the University’s history, stages of its development, educational traditions, and key milestones. Particular attention was paid to the institution’s functioning under martial law, its role in training personnel for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the preservation of traditions amidst modern challenges.

The event continued with a survey designed to identify sporting and creative interests of the first-year students, as well as to identify the students belonging to categories eligible for special benefits.
