The XI All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists “Current Issues of Administrative Law and Process in Conditions of Martial Law” was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
This year, the focus of the discussion was on profound transformations of administrative law and the search for new practical and theoretical approaches to ensuring the legal regime of public security and national stability.

On behalf of the University’s rector, Serhii Vitvitskyi, first vice-rector, Olena Volobuieva, welcomed the conference participants, noting: “It is young scientists who are the driving force that can offer innovative approaches to law enforcement and reforming the administrative process.”
The importance of youth initiatives was also confirmed by Yegor Nazymko, deputy director of the department of education, science and sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. He noted that the efficiency of administrative procedures and proper protection of human rights are of critical importance for the functioning of the state in the specific period. Myroslava Kalashnyk-Rybalko joined the congratulations on behalf of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The conference demonstrated impressive national unity, bringing together young researchers from over twenty-four educational and scientific institutions from different parts of Ukraine.The organizing committee received over 100 scientific reports, which covered the most relevant areas of development of administrative law in conditions of martial law: transformation of law considering the challenges of war, legal principles for ensuring national stability, European integration regarding adaptation to European Union standards and new mechanisms for the protection of human rights.
The participants, who included representatives of all higher education institutions that train police officers, as well as a number of leading universities – from classical to specialized ones– agreed on the following: legal mechanisms that regulate public security require systematic updating and adaptation to the realities of wartime.
The event, organized by scientific and pedagogical staffers of the DonSUIA, once again confirmed its role as a powerful intellectual platform that promotes scientific growth and formation of a new generation of lawyers capable of forming effective legal solutions in the period of greatest challenges for the state
